This webpage is about the 360 day calendar deception that has already deceived countless Christians. Upon reading the Genesis account of Noah's flood in chapter seven we are told the rain started on the 17th day of the second month in Noah's six hundredth year. God shut Noah, his family, and all the animals inside the ark. Beginning on the seventeenth day of the second month when the fountains of the great deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were opened and it rained on the earth forty days and forty nights. Verse 20 tells us; the waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. 21. And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man... Only Noah and those who were with him in the Ark remained alive.
In order to understand the time parameters of the flood it is essential to know that the calendar used at the time of the flood began its' first month in August/September (see Flavius Josephus' account in Antiquity of the Jews Book 1,chapter 3, section 3). Likewise the second month began about September/October. Later, at the time of the Exodus from Egypt then God re-numbered the months of the ancient Jewish calendar. By renumbering the months then a clear distinction was made between the civil and religious aspects being introduced to the Israelites by God. The Law of Moses and all that pertained to the Levites and priesthood of Aaron were governed by the Lord's appointed times and new moon festivals. The writings of Josephus tell us that civil funtions were still governed by the old calendar system. Therefore the Israelites still maintained their civil calendar that began in the autumn season. This fact should tell us that God did not start a new religious calendar for the Israelites but simply re-ordered the months pertaining to the Law and all it contained. In regards to the new religious calendar; what had previously been the seventh month became the first month (Abib-about our Feb/March) when Moses and the Israelites exited Egypt. It is also essential to know that God uses the conjunction point for the moon (Jerusalem time) and not the first visible sighting of the new crescent moon. Unfortunetly this fact has not yet taken hold in the minds of many Christians.
In regards to the flood Genesis 8:3 tells us: 3. And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased. 4. Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. Unfortunately, what most Christians do is make God a simpleton by suggesting that God must use a 30 day calendar because 150 total days divided by five months equals 30, so therefore God must be using a 30 day calendar. Hebrew Luna calendars can have either 29 or 30 whole days per month because the Luna month is about 29.53 days in length. What we are seeing in the flood is an account of six months, the first and last months being partial months with four complete months in between. If the rain started on the 17th day of the second month then the second month could have had 30 total days with 14 days remaining from day 17 (inclusive). Likewise the third month had 30 total Luna days. The fourth month would likely have been 29 days in length followed by the fifth and sixth months with 30 total days. Then the seventeen days of the seventh month would give a total looking like this; 14,30,29,30,30,17. Adding the first seventeen days of the seventh month make a total of 150 days. When viewed from an astromomical perspective what makes this study of time an anomoly is the fact that it had to begin in the fall season during the second month (Sept/October). If one tries to do these same calculations beginning about Mar/April then it simply will not work. However, it does work in about 18% of the years when a fall based calendar system is used.

Below is a chart showing each month consisting of 30 days each. If the flood followed the spurious 30 day calendar proposed by the many false teachers then the first month consisted of 14 total days when the flood started on the 17day of the second month. Months 3,4,5,6 were full months with 30 days and finally the seventh month had 17 days when the ark landed on Mt. Ararat. Doing the simple math gives a total of 151 days. Furthermore, a simple common sense reading of Genesis 1:14 tells me that God created the sun and the moon to be for signs, and seasons (appointed Feasts), and for days and years. I happen to know the average length of the solar year is 365.2422 days per year while the average length of the Luna year is 354.3670 days per year. Therefore these are the two exact measures of time that God uses regarding all prophetic scriptures concerning future years. To say that God uses a 360 day calendar for Bible prophecy is nothing short of transgressing the scriptures!
